I’m home. I just arrived tonight.IMG_20170327_113958801

What a strange feeling it has been to  drop out of society this way for 2 weeks and 2 days, as if attending an intensive educational program – or  a health retreat.

When the doctors said they think it’s time for me to go, at first I wasn’t sure. Can I manage out there? But now I feel ready after some last coaching by the physios, after John hired some equipment (toilet chair and wheelie walker) and of course, after the pharmacist presented me with a whopping bag of pills!

I am still dealing with pain on movement, so I limit activity to unavoidable bathroom visits. I am looking forward to expanding my world more and more. The doctors reassure me that better times are ahead.

They are keen for me to resume chemo as soon as possible, so I’ll be back to the schedule next Wednesday.

This is a quick update. There’s so much I want to say, most of it along the lines of THANK YOU and I LOVE your messages of support. You really have helped me through the difficulties.
