If there is a common thread to nearly all of the world’s worst problems I think it might be the economy. For example, economic factors (including greed and corruption) play a role in environmental issues, wars, poverty and so on. I get very excited about innovations that may help to address economic issues.
The New Economy Network Australia (NENA) links together individuals and organisations around the country who want to build a new economic system that’s ecologically healthy and socially just. NENA was created at the 2016 ‘Building the New Economy’ conference in Sydney where I was on the program talking about community exchange. I am not kidding myself that the solutions are simple, but I love contributing to this very optimistic project.
My short opinion piece has just been published on the NENA website.
