I had a bit of a scare thinking the cancer was growing again over the last couple of weeks.
Just to recap, I have a couple of tiny tumours still remaining after lengthy treatment for ovarian cancer recurrence. One is a small lump in my groin, which turns out to be a handy indicator since I can't feel the other 2 that are deep in my pelvis.
I consulted my doctor yesterday and feel very reassured. The specialist thinks the lump is actually not bigger, but just firmer. She said that's what tumours do, "cicatrising", like forming scar tissue. This seems plausible enough and I am happy to carry on with the tamoxifen pills and continue hoping this is helping to curb the tumour growth.
So that's my news – no news for now, which is the way I like it. I'm loving my freedom and healthy feeling!
